The Soapy Educational Kit, developed by scientists at the University of Coimbra, allows you to obtain liquid soap with a fruity aroma from used cooking oil, recycling this waste.

Instructions and safety information : Contraindicated for children under 3 years of age. Recommended for children aged 6 years and over, under the direct supervision of an adult. The Kit must be stored away from the reach of children under the recommended age and its contents stored in closed places inaccessible to young children. Keep children under the recommended age away from the experiment site. Before use, you must read all the safety information inside and the warnings on the individual parts. The experiment must be performed only as described. Adult protective equipment not included. The Kit contains sharp parts that must be handled with care, as well as small parts that can be ingested. It contains some chemicals that can be classified as potential safety risks. The fragrances in the Kit may cause allergies. The included reagents must be kept away from contact with the body, essentially the mouth, skin and eyes. Keep the chemicals and contents of the Kit away from any type of food. Wash your hands well at the end of the experience. The experiment must be carried out in a clean and unobstructed location. The place where the experiment is carried out, as well as all equipment used, must be cleaned at the end of its use. The Kit and its contents do not present any major hazards. However, minor injuries or cuts may occur as a result of incorrect use. How the Kit product is used is the sole responsibility of the customers.

First aid instructions and information : In case of contact with eyes: wash them thoroughly with running water. After washing your hands well, keep your eyelids wide open and continue rinsing for 10 minutes. Then immediately seek medical assistance. In case of contact with any area of ​​the body: immediately wash the affected skin with water for 10 minutes. If you cause any burns, cover them with a bandage. In case of severe burns, seek medical assistance. In case of contact with clothing: wash contaminated clothing immediately. If swallowed: rinse mouth with water and drink large amounts of milk (preferably) or water immediately. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical assistance immediately. In case of inhalation: move to a well-ventilated place with fresh air. – If symptoms persist, seek medical assistance urgently. In the case of an accident with chemical products, take the packaging or label, so that the doctor knows the product in question.
